Russell Lindsay, CPA, is a partner at Canopy 360 and leads the firm’s growth initiatives by working with new clients and guiding them through complex financial decisions. With more than 24 years of experience in the financial services industry, Russell provides advanced strategic guidance in tax and estate planning, asset protection, and small business mergers and acquisitions.

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Russell is a lifelong Florida native and proud University of Florida graduate. He began his career at a CPA firm that also offered wealth management services, where he quickly recognized the need for trusted advisors who prioritize long-term relationships and truly understand their clients’ goals. That conviction led him to help build what would become the foundation of Canopy 360, starting with just a handful of clients and a clear vision for client-first advice.

Russell is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds both Investment Advisor and Insurance licenses. His approach is grounded in listening first—seeking to understand each client’s unique story, celebrating their successes, identifying challenges, and developing customized strategies that bring clarity and confidence to their financial roadmap and legacy planning.

Russell has lived in Ocala for over 20 years and is deeply committed to the local community. He serves as President of the Lindsay Family Foundation and is actively involved with Good News Church of Ocala and Redeemer Christian School. Outside of the office, Russell enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, serving through his faith, and playing golf with friends.
