Lance is a graduate of Lee University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He began his investment career in 1996 with Dun & Bradstreet as an analyst selecting investments for pension plans. In 1998, he transitioned to SunTrust, where he served as a portfolio manager for high net worth clients.

As his career progressed, Lance continued working with high net worth families at Morgan Stanley. While there, he gained valuable insight into large-firm culture and operations, ultimately realizing his long-term vision was better aligned with a firm that prioritized client relationships above all else. This conviction led him to Raymond James and eventually to the independent advisor model, where he could fully focus on delivering personalized, client-first wealth management.

At Canopy 360, Lance leads portfolio management for the firm. With decades of experience analyzing investments and constructing portfolios, he manages multiple investment models designed to address varying growth objectives and risk tolerances, ensuring portfolios remain aligned with each client’s long-term goals.

Lance lives in Ocala with his wife, Albina, their three children, and a beloved golden doodle. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, playing the guitar, and competing on the pickleball court. He also serves as an Elder in his church.
