Jamie is a high honors graduate of the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Mass Communications. Prior to entering the investment advisory profession, she worked as a tax preparer and began her studies with New York University’s CFP® certification program. Jamie earned her CFP® designation in October 2013 and began working with Lance Powers shortly thereafter.

As the leader of Canopy 360’s Financial Planning Division, Jamie oversees client relationships and helps guide clients through their evolving financial goals. She conducts regular client reviews, trains and coaches fellow advisors, leads staff engagement initiatives, and manages the day-to-day operations of the practice.

Jamie lives in Ocala with her husband, Gene, a civil engineer, their two children, and dog. As a family, they enjoy spending time in the pool, visiting Disney World, and staying involved in their local community.

In 2019, shortly after their son turned one, Jamie was diagnosed with breast cancer—just days before learning she was also pregnant after years of fertility challenges. Following four surgeries, sixteen chemotherapy treatments, and fifty-six radiation treatments, Jamie is grateful to be cancer-free. She remains deeply committed to supporting local cancer research programs and advocating for women facing similar diagnoses.
